Rambo

One of Hope's claims to fame comes from the days of Rambo First Blood being filmed in the area. Every year, people from all over the world come to see the places depicted in the Rambo movie, filmed in 1981-82. October 2022 celebrated the 40th anniversary of the movie, with guests flocking to our little town to see some of the original sets, vehicles, guns and actors (not Sylvester Stallone)! Two chain saw carvings stand in front of town hall as testimony to Rambo's fame - one of Rambo and one of Sheriff Will Teasel. As a result of the Rambo attraction that continues to this day, we offer a number of Rambo-themed items including locally designed t-shirts, magnets, stickers, mugs, socks, boxers, signs, Rambo camo fudge, etc.
