This soap hopes to take you on a journey to Spain, France, and Germany.
Traditionally, Castile Soap was 100% Olive Oil soap made in the Castile region of Spain(which was said to be originally inspired by Aleppo Soap). Today's definition of "Castile" soap is much looser and is generally defined as a plant-based bar of soap, and thus all of these soaps can be considered "Castile" but these are indeed 100% Olive Oil soap!
Taking inspiration from Germany, this can also be classified as a "Soleseife" soap. Which is a traditional soap made from Sea Water, from the coastal regions of Germany (yes, Germany has a coast, look at a map!).
With aromas of Sage, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus, which were inspired by the Bendictine Monks of the Ganagobie Abbey in South-East France, who -according to Terry O'Reilly- grow these herbs on their grounds and incorporate them into their soaps, which they have been making for many, many years.
Made with 100% all-natural ingredients, our soaps are all free of: Plastic, Palm Oil, Parabens, and Phthalates.
Our labels are made from sugarcane fiber, with a vegan toxin-free adhesive, which are certified 100% biodegradable and compostable.
Our soaps are all made with the same base oils: Organic Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, and Avocado Oil.
Essential oils are used to provide aroma, and natural additives such as clays and plant powders provide color(when applicable).
